October SEC filings reveal big new venture capital funds

Venture firms raised big money in October, SEC filings show. Former Benchmark investors Victor Lazarte and Kris Fredrickson raised $1.252 billion for their debut AI fund, Diffusion ONE, far above an $800 million target. Austin-based Trust Ventures and deep tech investor Interlagos Capital are each raising $400 million funds, while Benchmark filed for four new partner-only funds.
