Jan Suraaj seeks disqualification of two Bihar MLCs who joined BJP

Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party has petitioned Bihar Legislative Council chairman Ram Bachan Rai to disqualify MLCs Bansidhar Brajwasi and Rahul Raj. Both won recently as Independents and joined the BJP within 72 hours, the party said, calling it a violation of Article 191. It warned it would move the Supreme Court if no decision comes in three months.
