Soya chunks vs chicken breast: which has more protein when cooked?
Soya chunks look like the protein winner in raw form, with about 50–52 g per 100 g dry against 22–24 g in raw chicken breast, says dietitian Garima Goyal. But cooking changes the picture: cooked soya chunks provide about 15–18 g per 100 g, while cooked chicken breast offers about 30–31 g. So, gram for gram, cooked chicken breast delivers roughly twice the protein.
