Telangana pitches itself as electronics hub as Mivi opens ₹200-crore plant

Telangana aims to become a leading electronics manufacturing destination, Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu said while opening consumer electronics brand Mivi's new facility near Hyderabad. Backed by ₹200 crore investment, the plant can make 5 lakh earbuds and 75,000 soundbars a month. The state is also targeting chip design, semiconductor manufacturing and components under its Telangana Rising-2047 vision.
