Tesla ends car referral rewards, now pays owners in free FSD

Tesla has launched a new US referral programme that rewards Full Self-Driving (Supervised) subscriptions instead of car sales. A referred owner gets one free month of FSD, and the referrer gets a free month or a $99 Tesla credit if that person starts paying. Vehicle purchases no longer earn any referral rewards for buyers or referrers.
