Xhaka and Embolo cleared to return for Switzerland

Switzerland captain Granit Xhaka and striker Breel Embolo will be available for November's matches against Slovenia and Scotland after an investigation into forged Covid-19 vaccination certificates, the Swiss Football Association confirmed. Xhaka, the country's record cap holder with 152 appearances, missed October's Nations League games after admitting he obtained a fake certificate in 2022.
