Tesla cancels Cybertruck for Australia and New Zealand

Tesla has scrapped plans to sell the Cybertruck in Australia and New Zealand, emailing reservation holders that their orders are cancelled. Australians had been paying A$150 deposits since November 2019, nearly seven years ago. Tesla says payments will be fully refunded within 30 days, and buyers who order a Model 3 or Model Y instead will get a free year of FSD (Supervised).
