IIM professor says frugal rural innovations have proven their worth

Professor Anil Gupta, who founded the Honey Bee Network to document inventions by farmers, artisans and ordinary citizens, says grassroots tech from rural India has proved itself. He also set up the National Innovation Foundation in 2000 and the SRISTI non-profit in 1993, and has spent decades searching villages for ideas that became products.
