PM Modi asks chief secretaries to review welfare schemes monthly

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for tighter monitoring of welfare schemes and infrastructure projects, asking chief secretaries to review their implementation with district magistrates every month. He also directed ministries and state governments to resolve bottlenecks in mission mode, strengthen coordination and fix accountability so that benefits and projects reach people on time.
