AAP sarpanch's son shot dead in Amritsar, sparks political row

Tirath Singh, son of an AAP sarpanch in Jheete Kalan village in Amritsar rural, was shot dead outside a gurdwara on Monday evening, while his friend Ranjeet Singh was injured. Police suspect an old family rivalry and have named four suspects. The victim's brother alleged the family was targeted for opposing drug peddlers, and the BJP said AAP 'can't even protect its own'.
