BYD's Yangwang teases luxury EV with suicide doors and gemstone grille

BYD is moving further upmarket with a new flagship EV from its ultra-luxury Yangwang brand, featuring suicide doors, a gemstone-style grille and possibly solid-state batteries. Yangwang sits at the top of BYD's brand line-up with the U7 sedan, U8 off-road SUV and U9 supercar, and has previously debuted technology such as the 1,300-hp quad-motor e4 platform.
