Karnataka to add 750 advanced ambulances by December

Karnataka will introduce 750 advanced ambulances by December to strengthen emergency care, especially in rural areas, Health Minister U.T. Khader said in Kalaburagi on Wednesday. He warned that penalties will be imposed if ambulances fail to reach patients within the stipulated 20 minutes. The State also plans to set up five-bed intensive care units in every taluk to improve rural access.
