India must double port capacity twice over by 2047, says Piyush Goyal

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, visiting the Port of Rotterdam on Sunday, said India's port capacity, already doubled in the past decade, should double twice over in the next two decades to support its growing economy and trade. The push is part of the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, alongside port-led development under the Sagarmala programme.
