Uber rolls out Bike Intercity, WhatsApp sign-up for Indian drivers

Uber unveiled new features for its more than 20 lakh driver partners in India at its Uber Pragati event in New Delhi. They include a Flexible Drive Pass lasting six hours to 180 days, WhatsApp-based onboarding through Quickstart, an 'Earn First, Pay Later' credit for cash trips, in-app voice notes, and Bike Intercity rides between nearby cities such as Delhi and Meerut.
