BRS accuses Telangana govt of plan to evict 4,000 families for realtor

A BRS team led by former minister T. Harish Rao toured colonies at Narsingi near Hyderabad, where a 100-foot road is planned, and accused the government of seeking to evict about 4,000 families to favour a builder. Residents said homes with full permissions were marked for demolition. Rao said the BRS government had earlier realigned the road to protect a historic temple.
