L&T bags major Dhaka Metro Line 1 systems contracts

Larsen & Toubro has won major design-and-build orders for two systems packages of Dhaka Metro Line 1, Bangladesh's first underground metro: track and electrical systems with Sumitomo, and signalling, telecom and platform screen doors. The JICA-funded line will run about 31 km with 19 stations. L&T earlier delivered systems for Dhaka Metro Line 6.
