El Salvador sends over 2,000 troops to Haiti to find missing soldiers

El Salvador has deployed more than 2,000 soldiers to Haiti to recover four air force technicians who went missing almost two weeks ago after an ambush in gang-controlled Croix-des-Bouquets. The four served with the UN-backed Gang Suppression Force. President Nayib Bukele said the troops would also support anti-gang efforts. Haiti earlier handed over four bodies it said were theirs.
