Festive auto sales: two-wheelers up 16%, passenger vehicles down 6%

Registration data for the first 14 days of India's festive season shows two-wheeler registrations up 16% year-on-year while passenger vehicle registrations fell 6%, according to Jefferies. PV demand moderated in the second week after 7% growth in the first seven days. In April-September, two-wheeler registrations grew 22% and wholesales rose 17%.
