Kerala to act on Nipah expired-drug row after expert report

Kerala Health Minister K. Muraleedharan said the government will act once an expert committee reports on allegations that expired Remdesivir was given to Nipah patients. He told the Assembly that Remdesivir bought in 2021 expired in May 2023 but may have been used at Kozhikode Medical College until 2025. Former minister Veena George called the allegations suspicious.
