Sun Pharma Q2 profit falls 36% on one-time charges

Sun Pharmaceutical's September-quarter consolidated net profit fell 36.4% to ₹1,988.5 crore, hit by exceptional charges of ₹1,268.8 crore linked to its Organon acquisition and an antitrust settlement. Adjusted profit was ₹3,162 crore. Revenue rose nearly 12% to ₹16,198.7 crore on strength in India and emerging markets, while US formulation sales slipped 8.2% to $455 million.
