Honda studies used electric scooter market before expanding EV push

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is studying India's second-hand electric two-wheeler market, including resale values, battery health and ownership patterns, before deciding how fast to grow its EV business. HMSI chief Tsutsumu Otani expects a clearer picture within three years. Residual value is a key concern, as Indian buyers often keep two-wheelers for over a decade.
