Bandi Sanjay defends Election Commission, slams Congress

Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticised the Congress for targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, accusing it of politicising the Election Commission whenever results go against it. He said the party should explain its electoral defeats instead, and alleged Congress had a history of rewarding former election commissioners with political posts, leaving it no moral right to complain.
