Russia jails IT worker 13 years after Binance shared Ukraine donations

A Russian military court sentenced 49-year-old IT specialist Yuri Belenkiy to 13 years for financing 'terrorism' after cryptocurrency exchange Binance gave investigators details of his donations to Ukrainian fundraisers. He will serve three years in prison followed by ten in a strict-regime colony and was fined 500,000 roubles. Belenkiy denied the charges and plans to appeal.
