Sensex jumps 1,233 points as Reliance soars 11.6% after Q2 results

Indian markets rose for a third straight session on Monday, with the Sensex closing 1,233 points higher at 75,682.78 and the Nifty 50 up 387.70 points at 23,440, both gaining 1.7%. Reliance Industries led the rally, surging 11.6% to its highest level in over six years after its better-than-expected second-quarter earnings were announced.
