Instagram quietly launches its TV app on Apple TV

Meta has brought Instagram for TV, an app focused on Reels, live streams and other video, to Apple TV with little fanfare. MacRumors spotted the updated App Store listing on October 23. The app, first tested last December, is already on Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs and Google TV as Instagram pushes into longer, episodic content and microdramas.
