Rafale Marine jet lands on INS Vikrant for the first time

A Rafale Marine fighter landed on and took off from India's indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant for the first time on Thursday, as trials begin ahead of the jets' induction into the Navy. India ordered 26 Rafale M jets from France in April 2025 under a ₹63,000-crore deal, with deliveries by Dassault Aviation due between 2029 and 2031.
