Taylor’s 131 and Bennett’s 71* put Zimbabwe on top against Afghanistan

Brendan Taylor scored 131 and Bennett made an unbeaten 71 as Zimbabwe took opening-day honours against Afghanistan. Their 137-run partnership left Zimbabwe well placed despite three late wickets falling in the final session. Afghanistan will look to strike early on day two to claw back the advantage.
