Railway Board approves Yesvantpur-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express

The Railway Board on Friday approved a new Vande Bharat Express, numbered 26655/26656, between Yesvantpur in Bengaluru and Madgaon in Goa, improving rail connectivity between Karnataka and Goa. The semi-high-speed train, built by BEML using technology from Chennai's Integral Coach Factory, will run via Mangaluru Junction, according to the board's letter dated October 30.
