Serbian police shoot dead knife attacker outside Israeli embassy

Serbian police shot dead a young man who rushed at an officer with two knives outside the Israeli embassy in Belgrade early on Wednesday, in what authorities called a terrorist attack. Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said the attacker was a minor monitored by security services as a known Islamic State supporter. The officer suffered a minor face wound, and the terror threat level was raised.
