Wrexham fined £75,000 for fielding ineligible players

The English Football League has fined Wrexham £75,000, with £25,000 of it suspended, for two instances of fielding ineligible players this season. The EFL ruled that Issa Kabore was ineligible for the match against Birmingham and Callum O'Hare for the game against Millwall. Both players had joined Wrexham on permanent deals during the 2026 summer transfer window.
