Doncaster MP flags over 1,000 tonnes of sewage sludge at landfill

More than 1,000 tonnes of sewage sludge have been spotted at a Finningley landfill near Doncaster, Labour MP Lee Pitcher said. He reported an uncovered stockpile and pressed the Environment Agency, which inspected the Tetron Finningley Ltd site on 9 October and set out actions for the operator. The company has not previously answered BBC queries.
