UK PM Burnham seeks to rework Chagos Islands deal after US pushback

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham says he wants to recast the deal ceding control of the Chagos Islands after resistance from Washington, which suggested the agreement could instead be modelled on America's Greenland deal with Denmark. Burnham told the Economist he wants a new discussion with the US over the disputed islands, which host the Diego Garcia military base.
