Congress calls EC's Supreme Court affidavit 'deceptive'

Congress described the Election Commission's affidavit in the Supreme Court as deceptive, deceitful and duplicitous, alleging that CEC Gyanesh Kumar has been taking unilateral decisions. Spokesperson Jairam Ramesh said two election commissioners had objected on record to SIR orders but were disregarded. He also said the EC's claims on Form 6 were contradictory, since the form could not be filed online without a new declaration.
