Ather delays entry-level Konarc, approves ₹122 crore capacity expansion

Ather Energy has pushed the launch of its entry-level Konarc variant to Q4 FY2027 from Q1 as demand outpaces production. Its board approved ₹122 crore to add 2.25 lakh units of annual capacity at its Hosur and AURIC plants, taking total capacity to about 11.45 lakh units. Customer pre-orders more than doubled to about 1.80 lakh in Q2 FY2027.
