Five Bengaluru friends on Char Dham trip among Chamoli chopper crash dead

Five friends from Bengaluru on a Char Dham pilgrimage were among the six people killed when a helicopter returning from Badrinath crashed near Jyotirmath in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district. The pilot also died. Among the victims was Arun Salunke, 44, a Bengaluru police inspector. The others were H S Nataraj, Prathap Ningraju, Sudheer K and Shankar Gowda.
