Over a third of post offices in UK's TG Jones stores to close

More than a third of post offices inside the TG Jones chain, formerly WH Smith's high street shops, are closing, Post Office records show. Thirty-six branches have shut this year and 34 more will close by early 2027. The chain ran 180 post offices before owner Modella's restructuring, raising fears of towns becoming 'postal deserts'.
