Cynthia Erivo has responded to people who questioned and mocked her friendship with Wicked co-star Ariana Grande during the films' press tours, saying many had become 'psychologists from their couches'. She described a strange annoyance that two women could genuinely be friends, calling the reaction a double-edged sword since they would have been criticised for showing little emotion too.
