NHS consultants in England to strike for two days in November

Senior hospital doctors in England will strike on November 25 and 26 in a dispute over pay and working hours, the British Medical Association said, with only emergency cover provided, similar to Christmas Day. The walkout follows 18 months of talks with the government that failed to address a 25% real-terms fall in consultants' pay.
