Stan Wawrinka bows out of tennis with defeat in Basel

Three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka, 41, played his final match at the Swiss Indoors in Basel, losing 7-5, 7-6(2) to Jiri Lehecka. He won the 2014 Australian Open, 2015 French Open and 2016 US Open, collected 16 ATP titles, reached world No. 3, and won Olympic doubles gold with Roger Federer in 2008.
