Bengal cabinet bars future teachers from taking part in politics

The West Bengal cabinet has barred future teachers from participating in politics and approved a new industrial policy offering incentives, faster clearances and changes to land-allocation rules. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari will announce details at Nabanna on November 5, when farmers receiving PM-Kisan benefits will also get an extra ₹3,000 under Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi in two instalments.
