Merck's endometrial cancer drug wins FDA priority review after survival gains
The US FDA has granted priority review to Merck's sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT) for advanced endometrial cancer. In a 776-patient trial, it cut the risk of death by 32%, with median survival of 19 months versus 12.1 months on chemotherapy, and shrank tumours in about 35% of patients. A regulatory decision is expected by June 2027.
