Rivian begins delivering upgraded electric van with 30% more range and AWD

Rivian has started delivering the first major hardware upgrade to its electric delivery van since production began in 2021. The larger EDV 700 now gets a 129 kWh LFP battery offering about 30% more range, plus a new dual-motor all-wheel-drive version aimed at rural routes in Amazon's network. The smaller EDV 500 keeps its existing setup.
