A cosmetic procedure that fractures patients' lower ribs and binds them in a corset for three months to create a narrower waist is growing in popularity. Miami-based Daniela Cesin, 31, underwent the RibXcar surgery in Venezuela after her surgeon found she lacked enough fat for a planned fat transfer. Some patients describe the recovery as feeling like being hit by a bus.
