Call of Duty to remove Itaewon crush footage after families' anger

Activision has apologised and will remove real news footage of the 2022 Seoul Itaewon crush from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in an update on November 12. The clips, used in an opening scene depicting a fictional North Korean invasion, showed stretchers and body bags. Families of the nearly 160 victims said they were appalled.
