DMK MP P Wilson calls IndiGo flight 'unsafe' after engine failure

DMK MP P Wilson has raised aviation safety concerns after IndiGo flight 6E 7423 from Kolkata to Shillong was cancelled when an engine failed and was shut down while the plane was taxiing. Wilson, travelling with three other MPs and 67 passengers to a parliamentary committee hearing, urged the DGCA to impartially review airworthiness certificates of all aircraft and conduct surprise inspections.
