Carrick to remain Man Utd boss for Chelsea trip

Michael Carrick will stay in charge of Manchester United for Saturday's game at Chelsea and be given a chance to turn the season around, sources told BBC Sport. United are winless in eight matches and sit one place above the relegation zone after Sunday's 3-0 home defeat by Bournemouth. The club had considered Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann as possible replacements.
