Lava to raise smartphone prices by up to ₹3,000 from November 15

Homegrown brand Lava will increase prices across its smartphone range by up to ₹3,000 from November 15, 2026, citing ongoing memory chip shortages hitting the industry. Lava, which focuses on budget and mid-range phones under ₹30,000, is the only Indian smartphone brand competing among Chinese and Korean players. Indian brands together held about 7% of the market in Q3 2026.
