BRICS parliamentary forum voices deep concern over West Asia

Parliamentary leaders of BRICS nations expressed deep concern over escalating hostilities in West Asia and criticised unilateral coercive measures and economic sanctions as contrary to international law. A joint declaration issued at the end of the two-day 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in New Delhi, led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, reiterated support for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
