Displaced Sudanese fear famine as aid situation worsens

Sudan's displaced people face a mounting food crisis amid warnings of famine. Aisha Adam, 50, fled Khartoum after war broke out between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in April 2023, moved to Omdurman, then to a displacement camp in Port Sudan, where she cares for an orphaned grandson and nephew and struggles to find enough food.
