Rapid Action Force airlifted to Arunachal after anti-dam protests

Arunachal Pradesh Police have called in two companies of the Rapid Action Force, a specialised riot-control unit, from Navi Mumbai following protests against a dam project in the state. The reinforcements were airlifted to Pasighat to strengthen security arrangements in the area amid the ongoing anti-dam agitation.
